Intel a oficializat adaptorul WiFi + Bluetooth Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 pentru laptopuri, ce ofera posibiliatea de transfer de date, de pana la 867Mbps. Pe langa aceasta viteza mare de transfer de date, adaptorul ofera o acoperire mai mare si consum mai mic din punct de vedere al bateriei.
Noul adaptor este dedicat celei dea patra generatii de procesoare Intel Haswell, desi, procesoarele nu au influenta prea mare asupra acestui tip de adaptor.
Adaptorul Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 va fi disponibil in trei variante:
- Wireless-N 7260 with Bluetooth – WiFi N standard, supporting a frequency band 2.4 GHz and integrated Bluetooth 4.0
- Dual Band Wireless-N 7260 with Bluetooth – WiFi N standard 2-band support and Bluetooth 4.0 2.4 GHz/5GHz
- Wireless AC-7260 support WiFi connection on the 5GHz band ac and b / g / n on the 2.4 band GHz/5GHz.
